Hotel robots for hospitality operations
Hotel robots take over repetitive tasks such as room deliveries, restaurant service and public area cleaning. So your team gains more time for guests. At Solis International, we sell, import and distribute service, cleaning and transport robots from global manufacturers. Our customers are hotels in Turkey and the Middle East. As a result, your staff can focus on the work that needs a personal touch.

Hotel workloads rarely stay even through the day. Breakfast, afternoon check-in and dinner service all put pressure on the same team at once. When hotel robots handle simple runs during these peaks, your front desk and service staff spend more time with guests. Night shifts also benefit, because small overnight teams get help with cleaning and deliveries.
We are a distributor, not a manufacturer. Therefore, we are not tied to a single brand. Instead, we help you choose equipment that fits your floor plan, elevators and service model. We also manage sourcing, import and delivery on your behalf. In selected projects, local assembly or production is an option we can evaluate with you.
Operational challenges hotels face
Staff shortages at peak hours
Breakfast, check-in and dinner often hit the same team at the same time. In high season, finding skilled staff gets harder. As a result, your existing team spends too much time on repetitive tasks.
Long walks between floors
Carrying towels, water or a room service order to an upper floor takes an employee away from the front desk or kitchen each time. In large properties, these trips add up over a full day.
Night cleaning of public areas
Lobbies, corridors and meeting floors need cleaning when guest traffic drops. However, night shifts usually run with few people, so keeping large areas consistently clean every night becomes difficult.
Hidden back-of-house workload
Moving linen, towels and supplies between storage, laundry and guest floors is work guests never see, yet it tires your team. Moreover, these runs often fall during the busiest hours.
Where hotel robots help most
The scenarios below reflect common needs in hotels. We review your floor plan and service model with you to decide which ones fit your property.
Amenity and room service delivery
When a guest asks for extra towels, water or a toothbrush, a delivery robot picks up the item at the front desk and brings it to the room door. Your employee stays at the desk, and the guest gets the item quickly.
Restaurant and banquet service
Service robots carry dishes from the kitchen to tables and bring empty plates back. Meanwhile, your waiters spend more time taking orders, making recommendations and looking after guests.
Welcoming and guiding guests in the lobby
A reception robot with a screen greets guests in the lobby and shows the way to the restaurant, meeting rooms or spa. It also answers simple, frequent questions, which eases the load on the front desk.
Night cleaning of lobbies and corridors
Autonomous cleaning robots sweep or scrub lobbies, corridors and meeting floors on planned routes when guest traffic is low. In the meantime, your night team focuses on tasks that need more attention.
Back-of-house linen and supply transport
Autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), which sense their surroundings and plan their own routes, move linen, towels and supplies between storage and guest floors. Housekeepers can then move on to rooms without waiting for supplies.
Robot solutions that suit hotels
These are the hotel robot categories our customers ask about most. You can find more detail on each one on our robotics and automation page.
Service & Delivery Robots
Service and delivery robots support your team in guest-facing work such as room service, amenity delivery and restaurant service.
Cleaning Robots
Cleaning robots cover lobbies, corridors and meeting areas on regular night routes, which lightens the load on your overnight staff.
Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR)
Autonomous mobile robots move linen, towels and supplies between floors behind the scenes, so housekeeping gains time.
How we run hotel robot projects
First, we want to understand your property. So we review your floors, elevators, corridor widths and flooring with you. We also note the areas you want to cover. Then we match this information with products from the manufacturers we represent and present suitable options side by side. That way, you do not pay for features you will never use.
We clarify installation, training and service scope together with the manufacturer during the quotation stage. As a result, you know exactly what support you will get, from whom and how, before the project starts. In addition, we manage sourcing, import and delivery, so you can stay focused on running your hotel. Do you run several properties as a hotel group? Then we can plan hotel robot deliveries across Turkey and the Middle East as one process.
For current data on service robots in hospitality and other sectors, see the International Federation of Robotics (IFR) service robots page.
Four steps from need to delivery
- 01
We define the need together
We start by listening to your operation, workflows and goals. Then we agree with you on which tasks are a good fit for automation.
- 02
We match the right solution
We select suitable products from the portfolio of global manufacturers we represent and share technical documents and alternatives with you.
- 03
We clarify the offer and scope
Pricing, lead time, installation, training and service scope are agreed together with the manufacturer at the quotation stage.
- 04
We manage import and delivery
We handle sourcing, import and delivery through our distribution network in Turkey and the Middle East. For selected projects, we also consider local assembly.
Hotel robots: frequently asked questions
Can robots use elevators and automatic doors?
Many service and delivery robots are designed to work with elevator and automatic door systems. However, integration depends on the elevator brand, its control system and the building itself. That is why we collect your elevator and door details before quoting and check compatibility with the manufacturer. If needed, we also coordinate with your elevator provider.
Can one robot work across multiple floors?
Yes. Robots with elevator integration can serve several floors. During setup, the robot maps each floor and then finds delivery points based on those maps. On the other hand, we need to know in advance about ramps, thresholds or narrow passages between areas. This helps us choose the right model and avoid surprises during installation.
Do hotel robots need Wi-Fi?
Most robots rely on a wireless network to receive tasks, call elevators and report their status remotely. So stable coverage matters in the corridors, elevator lobbies and service areas where the robot will operate. We review your existing network with you during the site assessment. If we find weak spots, we share them with your IT team before installation.
How do staff work alongside the robots?
Robots do not replace your team; they take over repetitive tasks. For example, a front desk agent sends a delivery task from a tablet. The robot then notifies the team when the task is done. Your employees learn to use the robot after a short training. We agree on the training scope with the manufacturer during the quotation stage.
What information do you need for a quote?
To start, we need your number of floors and rooms and your elevator type. We also need the areas where you plan to use hotel robots. It helps to name the tasks, too: room delivery, restaurant service or night cleaning, for example. If you can share a floor plan or a few photos, we can prepare suitable options faster.
